What a picture!

Talk about an emotionally mixed evocative picture. There is such a sharp contrast in the image – it hits you in very different places at the same time.

Thanks for posting it, Barefoot.

Whats the English word: poignant?

We seem to forget that these young men still have a lot of "little boy" hidden inside them. Tragic that it has to be. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Yoel

P.S. I have two sons in IDF, one an officer in Paratroopers the other going in the Hesder Paratroopers this summer.

PL,

It is a wonderful picture! More than words could ever say.

Yoel,

I can't find words, knowing your sons are out there protecting Eretz Yisrael. I think that for parents, their children are forever young, and always, in some sense, their babes. May G-d keep your sons and protect them and may they come home safely to you. And may the Messiah/Messianic Age be just around the corner.
